Cancellation Policy
At the AIM Learning Centre, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, which may require you to cancel or reschedule your class. To ensure we can manage this process smoothly, we have developed the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation Notice
If you need to cancel your class, we require at least six hours’ notice before the scheduled start time. This allows us to reschedule the session and provide sufficient notice to our tutors. Failure to provide notice would mean you’ve missed the class and we aren’t obliged to reschedule.
No Show
If you fail to attend a scheduled class without prior notification, it will be recorded as a no-show. The teacher will wait for 15 minutes and send a reminder message. However, failure to attend would mean you’ve missed the class and we aren’t obliged to reschedule.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late to a class but within the first half of the scheduled period, your attendance can still count. However, the missed minutes cannot be extended due to the teachers’ busy schedules.
Teacher Cancellation
In the event of a teacher needing to cancel a class, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at a suitable time for all. If this is not possible, we may offer a substitute teacher.
Teacher Lateness
Our teachers are committed to providing quality classes for the agreed-upon duration. If the teacher arrives late and the full class cannot be completed, you will have the opportunity to complete the remaining minutes at the end or start of the next class.
Connection Issues
In the case of connection problems, we will reschedule the class at a suitable time for all. You may also consider possible solutions, such as getting closer to the Wi-Fi router, using a cable connection, or switching to audio only.
Enrollment Cancellation
If you need to cancel your enrollment, a full refund can be provided if done before classes for the term begin. After the term has started, a request to cancel can be made within the first six weeks of the term, and we will refund you for the remaining sessions. No refunds will be made after six weeks.
We strive to provide the best learning experience for our students and hope that you will not need to cancel your classes. However, if you do, we encourage you to provide us with the required notice, so we can manage the process smoothly and with minimal disruption.
