Our Camp Wilayah team consists of the following:
Camp Coordinators for both boys and girls camps
1 Team Leader and 1 Team Assistant per group of 6-8 children
Logistics Team taking care of our requirements during our stay
Our own catering team who will be preparing food onsite

All Participants are expected to abide by the following guidelines:
Show respect to all campers with kind and polite behaviour
Be mindful of other groups using the campsite
Physical and social hijab to be maintained at all times
Always stay together and do not leave the premises unsupervised (without a volunteer).
No use of inappropriate language at any time
Violence is not acceptable.
Bullying will not be tolerated
No mobile phones allowed.
Respect the timing schedules (try to be early) and attend all activities.
Show politeness and good sportsmanship when playing.
Campers must attend daily prayers ensuring they are ready on time.
Bed timings and 'lights out' should be adhered to (do not disturb others at this time).
Always listen to instructions from the camp volunteers and staff.
Respect others' property and do not touch items that do not belong to you.
Always keep yourself, your environment and bedroom tidy.
Please Note: Repetitive breaching of the rules may result in your child being sent home.
We do not allow mobile phones or electronic devices at the camp and request that these items are left at home.
To enjoy the experience at Camp Wilayah we replace technology with nature! This is important for campers to be able to build social bonds and engage with the activities.
Children will have an opportunity to contact parents using their leader's phone during their free time. If a parent wishes to contact their child, they are welcome to contact the Camp Coordinators.
Children may also request their team volunteers to take pictures/videos of them which will be forwarded to them after camp.
Our priority is to ensure children are safe at all times.

Campers will be under full supervision at all times
In additional to the onsite First Aiders, we have our own first aid trained volunteers who will take care of campers
All incidents will be documented for reference
Parents will be contacted if their child requires first aid support and further updates as needed
Upon registration, you will be requested to provide us with a list of medication, specifying the type and quantity of medication your child will bring to the camp, along with information on whether they will self-administer or require assistance.
Please ensure that you bring only the necessary amount of medication for the duration of the camp, and refrain from sharing medication with other campers.
We will contact you if your child requires additional medication during their stay at the camp
Sometimes there are cases where urgent administration of medication is necessary and we are unable to reach you. For this reason, you will be requested to provide consent upon registration, to enable us to administer medication promptly.
You will also be requested to inform us of any matters that are sensitive to your child that may affect them during their stay at camp, such as bereavement, family disputes or any special needs. This will help us better cater for your child where possible.
Hijab is compulsory for all female participants and both male and female must have loosely fitted clothing.
Boys accommodation and girls accommodation are in two different parts of the site with their own block of showers and toilets.
Activities will be rotated to ensure minimal overlap between boys and girls
During free time, the girls and boys will have access to separate outdoor areas for recreation and sports.
Joint activities could include congregational prayers, talks and a team photoshoot
Sleeping bag/bedding and pillow
Toothbrush, towel, toiletries and other personal hygiene items
Clothing for all weather conditions, including rain coats, sportswear
Nightwear
Shoes for both indoors and outdoors including slippers, trainers
Torch for tunnelling and other outdoor activities at night
Prayer chador for female participants
Notebook and pen
Pocket money is not allowed at the camp.
Children will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by our own in house catering team.
Free snacks will be provided twice a day and includes fruits, crisps, chocolate, cereal bars and drinks.
You will be requested to provide any dietary requirements/allergies upon registration.
At times, we share our activities on social media. This can include images of your children at Camp Wilayah. You will be requested to provide consent upon registration, to allow us to take pictures/videos of your children during activities.
Participants are able to cancel their registration and receive a complete refund if done at least one week prior to the start of camp
Any cancellations made after this deadline would not be eligible for a refund.
